Music, décor and Gin…

So much has happened in the last few weeks at The Pavillion, Colwall so its only right we start at the beginning…

Hardwork, vision and friends led to a transformation in the appearance of the Pavillion. Working down to the wire of our launch party (sometimes it’s good to work to a deadline!) we built a vintage maximalist interior that links to the history of the building and embraces our environmental values of wanting to reuse and recycle rather than buying new.

Who says vintage can’t be stylish? I personally believe that the interior establishes a quirky opulent atmosphere that breathes the artistic and musical history that is Colwall and our surrounding area and the fact that we have so many great antique shops, charity shops and Malvern Flea has meant that we have been able to find most of our treasures in the locality.

It was great to launch with an event that thanked some of the people who have helped and supported us to bring new life into broken embers.

There is no doubting that Colwall is a fabulous place to stay and visit, with so much to do. From walking our majestical hills to the brilliant Malvern Theatre and now we have a new venue in The Pavillion, that we truly wish to become a creative hub and celebrations for the area. And with that in mind we held our first music night to the public since our rebranding and renovation and what a brilliant night it was!

Words cannot express the power of music that hits your soul and Flatworld certainly manage to do that. You cannot fail to feel happy and alive as you tap and sway to the melodious beats of Eastern Cultures. It really is an otherworldly experience and I for one can’t wait to hear them again.

Gin…this week will mostly be spent tasting and learning about gin. So watch this space to find out who we will be stocking in the near future!

Bye for now...

And in the spirit of supporting local we are hoping to see you at one of our upcoming events:

Poetry and Pie Night on the 9th November with the Homend Poets

The Stoned Cherries on Saturday 16th November
